Description

The Eskom is seeking learner technicians to obtain a Diploma in Chemical / Analytical Chemistry @ TR2 level in the Electricity, Energy & Water Supply industry. The position requires leadership, teamwork, integrity, professionalism, and customer focus. The incumbent will be provided with institutionalized and on-the-job training. The company is committed to equality, employment equity, and diversity, and may prefer candidates from under-represented groups. Minimum requirements include a fully completed S4 / S5 (Chemical/Analytical Chemistry) and being a South African citizen.

Responsibilities

• Participate in institutionalised and on-the-job training to gain practical skills and experience
• Apply theoretical knowledge in Chemical / Analytical Chemistry to real workplace operations
• Support technical teams with lab work, analysis, and chemical testing under supervision
• Adhere to Eskom’s policies, procedures, and safety standards while learning
• Develop communication, teamwork, negotiation, and liaison skills in a professional setting

Qualifications

• Fully Completed S4 / S5 in Chemical/Analytical Chemistry
